Pannett House offers a warm welcome from Lee, who manages the property effectively. I stayed in the single room, which featured sole use of a beautifully maintained original bathroom. The breakfast options were excellent, and the quality was outstanding. The Victorian decor adds a unique charm, enhancing the overall stay experience. This well-maintained residence strikes a balance between modern comfort and historic character.

Perfect for couples looking for charm
The warm welcome we received from Lee was something nice. Our room had an original Victorian brass bedstead, straight out of a fairy tale, and breakfast was a spread that left us full until evening.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but it was still worth every penny.

We stayed in a Deluxe Room, and I was really impressed. The space was generous, and that four-poster bed? Super comfy! Lee provided all the little extras like tea, coffee, and a TV. A lovely guidebook. The bathroom was small, but honestly, it worked for us, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Breakfast was a treat too, especially the delicious Full English. Quaint Victorian Charm and Exceptional Breakfast

Lee is a fantastic host, always warm and accommodating, and the breakfast options exceeded my expectations with a superb Full English. The location is perfect, just a short stroll from Whitby harbour, ideal for enjoying the sights. One downside was the challenge of parking, which can get quite tricky during peak times.
